Drumblek SPEKTA Genesis SMPS KTU Koto Gasib, Liven Up the Cultural Carnival Parade in Pekanbaru

News24xx.com - As many as 45 students of Chemical Tirta Utama SMPS (KTU), Koto Gasib Subdistrict, Siak Regency, made the audience amazed by displaying youth creativity for the country while participating in the Cultural Festival parade, commemorating the 91st Youth Oath in Pekanbaru.

Drumblek is a musical instrument game that utilizes used items such as large barrels, small barrels, blek, kentongan, balera and tam.

Being in the second row of the Siak Regency Contingent, the students in Koto Gasib District seemed eager to play the drumblek while walking with a smile through the Governor of Riau Syamsuar and other invited guests.

"This drumblek art is an implementation of environmental character education, the result of cooperation and partnerships between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of the Environment, which is embodied in the Adiwiyata School concept," said PT KTU Public Relations, Azra Husaini.

"This is the creation of the nation's sons and daughters in utilizing used goods into musical instruments," explained the Public Relations of PT KTU Azra Husaini, while participating in the Cultural Carnival in Pekanbaru, Saturday, October 19, 2019.

He explained, the Tirta Utama Chemical SMPS had stated its commitment to become an Adiwiyata School, in support of the Siak Regency Government's Sustainable Development Program.

"We fully support 'Siak Hijau, Siak Lestari' according to the theme of the 20th anniversary of Siak Regency on October 12, 2019, this is also the implementation of Siak Regent Regulation No. 22 of 2018 concerning Green Regency," he explained.

In commemorating this Youth Pledge Day, his party also congratulates Jokowi-Maaruf as President and Vice President for the upcoming 2019-2024 period.

The activity was attended by the Governor of Riau, Danrem 031 / WB, Deputy Governor, Riau Police Chief, Danlanud RSN, Chairman of LAM, Kajati, Riau Deputy Chief of Police, as well as all Regents and Mayors throughout Riau Province.
