Bawaslu Riau Wins Best Election Supervision Innovation in Indonesia

News24xx.com - Riau Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) won first prize in the category of Best Election Supervision Innovation in Indonesia at the 2019 Bawaslu Award at Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta, Friday (10/25/2019) night. Bawaslu Riau won two awards at once from 12 categories contested by Bawaslu throughout Indonesia.

This was revealed by Riau Bawaslu Chairman Rusidi Rusdan in his press release on Saturday (10/26/2019).

"The third winner in the Best Supervision Performance category was won by Bawaslu, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau," he said.

The 12 categories that are contested are the Best Supervision Performance Categories, the Best Supervision Innovations, the Best Public Relations Function and Inter-agency Relations, the Best PPID Management, the Best Prevention Innovations, the Best Violation Management, the Best Gakkumdu Centers. Furthermore, the categories of Handling Best Administrative Violations, Best Mediators, Best Dispute Resolution, Formulation and Provision of Information at the Best Constitutional Court, and Best Human Resources Management.

"The 2019 Bawaslu Award was attended by 34 provinces and 415 city districts throughout Indonesia. The aim of the 2019 Bawaslu Award is a form of appreciation from the Bawaslu to the ranks of election supervisors at every level," said Rusidi.

For this achievement, all electoral supervisors in Riau were invited to be even more innovative in the 2020 elections. It is hoped that the Bawaslu ranks in Riau are solid and help each other.

"I am sure that next year will be even greater," concluded Rusidi.
