News24xx.com - A father-in-law in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi), stabbed his son-in-law to death, allegedly because of drinking alcohol (alcohol) type of ballo. After killing the life of the son-in-law named Jufri Daeng Sewang, the perpetrator of Karim (50), surrendered to the Jeneponto Police Headquarters.

Head of Public Relations Sub Unit of Jeneponto Police, AKP Sahrul Regama, said the persecution case began when the victim and the perpetrator drank a type of ballo in front of the perpetrator's house. Allegedly because they were both under the influence of alcohol, the perpetrators and victims were at odds with and quarreling.

The dispute eventually led to persecution. The perpetrator stabbed his son-in-law by using a sharp weapon in the form of a dagger. The victim suffered three stab wounds in the chest to critical. "This incident occurred around 2 am this morning," said Sahrul at the Jeneponto Police Headquarters.

The family took the victim to the nearest health center, but his life could not be saved. According to medics, the victim died on his way before arriving at the puskesmas.

While the culprit immediately surrendered to the Jeneponto Mapolres. The perpetrator confessed to the police, there was no problem between himself and the victim. "There is no problem with illness, we both finished drinking," he said.

Sahrul added, the police were still exploring the motives of the perpetrators to persecute victims to death. The perpetrators are still undergoing an examination at the Jeneponto Mapolres. "We are also still examining witnesses," he said.
