SIAK- The Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform (KemenPAN-RB) submitted the results of the evaluation of public service area I at the Aston Batam Hotel. For Siak District, several OPDs received awards for the organization of public services.

OPDs that were lively for the awards included the One Door Integrated Investment Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Siak Regency, Tengku Rafian Siak District Hospital, and the Population and Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil). Two of them, namely DPMPTSP and Tengku Rafian Siak Regional Hospital were upgraded to Predicate A- and Tengku Rafian Siak Regional Hospital with Prediket B.

The minister, Tjahjo Kumolo explained the instrument used for the evaluation was referring to the Minister of PANRB Regulation No. 17/2017 concerning Guidelines for Performance Evaluation of Public Service Provider Units. In the regulation, six aspects were assessed, namely professionalism of human resources, infrastructure, public service information systems, consultation and complaints as well as innovation.

From the results of the evaluation, Tjahjo gave several things that need to be noted. Among them is the involvement of the community in the formulation of policies in particular the preparation of service standards. Then, the service unit must also manage complaints to improve the quality of public services and document the activities carried out. "The unit must also carry out a community satisfaction survey and follow up on the survey," he explained.

Tjahjo also invited the Provincial, Regency / City Governments to continue to improve public services and create public service innovations that make it easier for the community. "I congratulate the Regional Head for being consistent and committed to improving public services through his OPD, this must be maintained and continuously improved," he concluded.

On the occasion of Submitting the Results of Evaluation and Appraisal of the Implementation of Public Service for Scope Region I of 2019, for the District of Siak was received by the Regional Secretary of the District of Siak T.S. Hamza. On that occasion, T.S Hamzah said, there are still a lot of work that had to be improved especially on public services in the Siak Regency Government.

"We are proud that public service in Siak continues to increase, but we do not want to be quickly satisfied. Moreover, maximizing public services has become an obligation and necessity to improve, prioritize and facilitate public services and access, especially in Siak Regency, "he stressed.

He continued, currently the Siak Regency Government is always intensifying public service innovation in each OPD which is expected to make it easier for people in Siak. "Especially at this time the development of information and technology is increasingly massive, of course we must follow it. Public services in Siak must also be like that, so that community needs can be balanced, "he explained.

In the opportunity to attend the Submission of Evaluation Results and Award for the Implementation of Public Services for the Scope of Region I of 2019, Secretary of the District T.S. Hamzah was accompanied by the Head of the Investment Service Office of One Door Integrated Services of Siak Heriyanto Regency, Plt. Head of Disdukcapil Siak Regency Zulfikri, Director of Tengku Rafian Siak Regional Hospital Dr. Benny Chairuddin. (R24 / Lin)
