SIAK- The Regent of Siak Alfedri welcomes the arrival of Jampidsus Attorney General RI Ari Toegarisman at the Siak Palace, Tuesday (12/11/19). The presence of Indonesian Attorney General Jampidsus Ari Toegarisman was accompanied by the Chief of high prosecutor Uung Abdul Syakur and Asdatun high prosecutor of Riau and Asintel high prosecutor Riau.

While walking towards the Siak Palace with the group, Ari Toegarisman looked amazed at the historical heritage of the Malay kingdom of Siak which still stands firm. "Everything still looks intact and so advanced the building, far more advanced than history that is here," he said with admiration.

The presence of him and his entourage to Siak was a series of work visit activities in Pekanbaru. Namely the task of supervision to the high prosecutor's office, before reaching Pekanbaru, he also had time to read about the history of the Kingdom of Siak. So as to make him even more curious about the Kingdom of Siak.
"It turned out to be different from my first thought of reading, far more wonderfully beautiful the kingdom of Siak. This is what impressed me," he said.

In addition, he also had the opportunity to see Sultan Siak relics in the palace such as the Queen's Mirror, Comet musical instruments, iron marijams, iron crates or other Sultan Siak relics.

On that occasion, Siak Regent Alfedri also welcomed the entourage of Jampidsus who were present, he briefly explained about the kingdom of siak in the past and the glory of the siak kingdom in helping the independence of Indonesia.

"Previously this area was part of the Siak sri Indrapura sultanate. In the early days of Indonesian independence, Sultan Syarif Kasim II, who was also the last Sultan, stated that he joined the Republic of Indonesia by giving up the assets of the kingdom of Siak," Alfedri concluded.
