Controversial; Killing a Bus Driver Who Tried to Rape Her; This Egyptian Girl Is Freed From Prison Penalty

In July, a 15-year-old girl identified as Amira Ahmad, turned herself in to the police and claimed she had stabbed him fatally because he tricked her into going to a desert area in Giza near Cairo and attempted to rape her.

The girl also said she was on a trip to date her boyfriend. But the bus driver kidnapped him and tried to sexually assault him.

The attorney general's decision is considered the most historic and interesting thing for every girl in Egypt. Prosecutors respect the human rights of their girls and maintain their honor and dignity,

The murder sparked controversy in Egypt which was largely conservative, although some accused the teenager of having an affair with the man.

On Tuesday, Egypt's chief prosecutor Hamada Al Saway said there was no reason to file a murder case against the girl because she acted in defense of her honor.
