The officer who is often called Gita said, previously it had been agreed, that the alternative road was not allowed to be passed by cars with a load of more than 10 tons.

"The bridge will not be able to withstand loads above 10 tons. Whatever the story is, we will still not correct it, because it has been stipulated until the bridge construction project is completed," he said.

The Kasatlantas Siak Regional Police also appealed to the people who crossed the alternative route next to the construction of the Koto Gasib bridge, to obey the existing regulations.

"We hope that motorists will be careful and obey the existing rules. If there are officers who regulate the opening and closing of the road, it is possible for cars with more than 10 tons to load, report immediately," he advised.
