AN was arrested by police after successfully escaping to Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency of Jambi Province after being a fugitive for 1 month.

This is thanks to the collaboration of the Tembilahan Hulu Police Criminal Unit together with the East Tanjung Jabung Police team so that it succeeded in uncovering and arresting AN suspects in their hiding location in Sungai Beras Village, Mendahara District, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency.
 
Head of Tembilahan Hulu Police AKP Rhino Handoyo revealed, the perpetrators were arrested on Monday 11 November 2019 and after being interrogated, the suspect admitted that he had stabbed the victim AG using a knife.

"We have secured evidence of a piece of a knife with a dark brown handle with a length of 15 cm. At present the suspect will be processed according to applicable laws," he explained.

Meanwhile, it is known that this case began when the victim AG and his wife had just returned from the market and were approached by 2 unknown people and demanded Rp.

The victim at that time claimed to have not been paid and did not have money so that the perpetrators were angry and said harshly.
 
As they continued on their way home, the two strangers continued to follow the victim from behind and continued to insist on asking for money.

When in Trench 10 Jalan H Arief, one of the unknown men pulled a knife from his waist and stabbed into the victim's stomach and hit the stomach.

As a result of the incident the victim suffered a torn wound to the right side of the abdomen and was treated for about one week at RSUD Puri Husada Tembilahan.
