DPRD Bengkalis Appreciates Malay Village Night Tourism

News24xx.com - Deputy Chairperson of the Bengkalis DPRD Commission I, Arianto appreciated the 'Malay Village Night Tour' which was held by Pemuda Air Putih Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau, Sunday, November 16, 2019.

This was conveyed by Arianto while attending the opening ceremony of Kampung Melayu Night Tourism which was centered at the Muhammad Ali Stadium, Air Putih Village.

"We are very welcomed with the implementation of activities like this. And this is very positive with this way young people today, we see that today teenagers have been involved with drugs and other things that are not good. But on the other hand, we see today they have extraordinary creativity, "he said.

The former Bengkalis Regional Secretary stated again that, with the convening of this Malay village night tour, it could also create economic employment opportunities. Arianto gave an example like people who sell and others.

"We should support positive activities like this. I personally and organizations are very supportive with youth programs like this. And we from the legislature are ready to wait, if there are programs like this going forward," Arianto said again.

This Gerindra Party politician hopes that this Malay village night tour will not be held in the Bengkalis city area. But it must be held in other village villages, such as in the western part of Bengkalis district.

"We hope, through this activity, in the future we will schedule or be shifted west of Bengkalis sub-district, like in a single sealing park. And positive activities like this are not wrongly carried out, and not just once, but must be repeated many times," he said.
 
"If possible, what the regent had said through the Head of Tourism Office, said that this activity must be carried out every month. We from the legislature are very supportive, but not enough with just support, but there is a program that is packaged under the coordination of tourism so that it can be done," said Arianto again.

He continued, the aforementioned support, the local government must also provide assistance in order to move. And young people like this must also be provided with stimulations so that these young people can and continue to be creative.

"One more thing, maybe with like today we see, I once again give appreciation, for the future, let's invite the outer regions, including the nearest regency. Besides culture, let's show traditional food, this is what we must preserve "And I really agree if I can invite from the nearest district," he concluded.
