Based on information from the head of the mission in the West African country, the ship left Gambia a week ago and brought at least 150 people, including women and children. They were going to the Canary Islands by trying to approach the coast of Mauritania to get fuel and food.

The 22-year government run by former President Yahya Jammeh has greatly influenced the country's economy, especially for young people. He made a major contribution to the exodus.
