Regional House of Representatives : There is no transfer of land function

News24xx.com -  Jikalahari assess if the Riau Provincial Government has deliberately change the status and function of forest area of 32 corporation of oil palm plantation to non forest area or Other Designated Area (APL).

"The governor of Riau has made 32 corporations of illegal palm oil plantations legalized through Riau RTRWP's draft on 2016-2035," said Woro Supartinah, Coordinator of Jikalahari, at Wagon Coffe, Ahmad Dahlan street, Pekanbaru, on Friday, September 8, 2017.

Responding to it, Vice Chairman of Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), H Noviwaldy Jusman stated that in fact there is no big problem related to the draft.

"There is no major problem with the RTRW's draft if it is passed," he said over by cell phone call in Green Radio talk show with Jikalahari.

Noviwaldy Jusman aka Deded said, one village in Duri is formerly a self-made wildlife area that is now being a village.

"It's incredible, so here's what we're actually putting," he said.

In the event that the theme of RTRW Riau's profit and loss, he affirmed there is no diversion of land function.

"There is no land conversion, we just plan it and accommodate the ministerial decree," he said
