Some Foreign Investors interests with Riau Main Stadium

News24xx.com - Following the implementation of the National Sports Week (PON Riau in 2012, the Main Stadium located at Nagasakti Road, Tampan District, Pekanbaru was underutilized by the Riau Government, both private and public.

This is because the stadium's operational cost is so high that the 43,923 tribal people have very little operational cost.

However, there are investors from Singapore and Malaysia who are interested in working together on the lease and management of the Main Stadium which is the pride of the Yellow Landing community.

Responding to this, Governor Riau, Shamsuar said he would still study the outcome of the talks with the investor. "Because, the Riau Main Stadium is going to be renovated this year," he said.

Shamsuar said that in addition to the Main Stadium, the investor would also work with the Riau Government on the tourism sector on Rupat Island.

"If the investor is willing to enter into some agreements with the Riau Provincial Government, the investment is already in place," he said.
