A Mosque Was Attacked in a Camp in Marib Yemen, More Than 80 People Killed

News24xx.com - More than 80 Yemeni soldiers have been killed and dozens injured in recent missile and drone attacks. The attack was allegedly carried out by Houthi rebels in central Yemen.

Saturday's strike came after months of war between Iran-backed Huthis and the Yemeni government.

Huthis attacked a mosque in a military camp in the central province of Marib - about 170 kilometers (105 miles) east of the capital Sanaa - during night prayers, military sources told AFP.

A medical source at the town of Marib hospital, where the victim was transported, said that 83 soldiers were killed and 148 others injured in the attack.

The death toll in the Yemeni conflict is often disputed, but this number is one of the bloodiest single attacks since the war erupted in 2014 when rebels seized Sanaa.
