Incentives are Only Paid for 10 Months, RT and RW Chair Submits Citizens' Affairs to the Kelurahan

News24xx.com - The heads of RT and RW only received incentive funds for 10 months from 2018. Finally, they made a decision that the administrative matters of the residents were handed over to the village or sub-district office for the remaining two months.

Edrianto, representative of the RT and RW chair forum in his leaflet on Wednesday (1/22/2020), said that the issue of RT and RW incentive payments has not been resolved. Therefore, the RT and RW chairmen forum asked Pemko Pekanbaru to pay for the lack of incentives for three months in 2019. These incentives are paid at the latest in the first week of February 2020.

"This is based on the statement of a Pekanbaru DPRD member who said that the incentives for the heads of RT and RW are direct and not activities. So, there is no reason the RT and RW incentives are not paid or postponed. Asking, the team leader of the Local Government Budget Team (TAPD) Pekanbaru City Government is responsible, "he said.

Payment of RT and RW incentives in 2018, 2019 and 2020 that has been approved by the Pekanbaru DPRD is only 10 months. Therefore, the RT and RW chair forum proposes activities for only 10 months.

Thus, the RT and RW matters are left to the kelurahan or kecamatan. Therefore, the RT and RW incentive funds were made into a 12-month Regional Regulation that was paid in full.

"Especially the RT and RW incentive funds in 2020 that have been budgeted and approved by the Pekanbaru DPRD, we ask to be paid every 10th," said Edrianto.
