Roads Around STC Will Be Re-Paved, 2015 Fire Victim Trader Stalls Immediately Demolished

News24xx.com - Four roads around the Sukaramai Trade Center (STC) will be re-paved (overlayed) by the City Government of Pekanbaru. In order for the paving process to run smoothly, the manager of STC, in this case PT Makmur Papan Permata (MPP), will immediately demolish the Temporary Shelter (TPS) for traders of fire victims in 2015.

PT MPP Branch Manager and STC manager, Suryanto, on Tuesday (1/28/2020), revealed that the Pekanbaru mayor visited STC on November 26, 2019. During the visit, the mayor of Pekanbaru hoped that the TPS could be demolished in mid-January. Because Pekanbaru City Government must do external work that is not small.

"Pekanbaru City Government wants to immediately fix the environment (around STC). They want to overlay Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jalan Kopi, and Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, and Jalan Clove," he said.

So in October 2019, before the visit, PT MPP tried to dismantle the TPS affected by the construction of the STC. Traders affected by the construction are relocated to an empty polling station.

"We demolished it so that the former TPS could be built access to STC like on the side of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. But, the progress of new work on the work of piling," said Suryanto.

Now, building structures are being calculated. Because, the access side of the road from Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto will be added to an elevator that goes directly to the bisoscope.
