The Problem of Bad Smell, Residents Will Visit and Send The Letter to DLH and Pelalawan Regional Parliament

PELALAWAN - Youth and Residents of Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency, Riau, asked Pelalawan Regency Government and Pelalawan District Parliament to overcome the foul odor that was thought to come from the company.

This was said by Rudialis, a Pelalawan Youth figure to Riau24.com, Tuesday (2/2/2020). According to him, the foul odor that is often smelled by Pangkalan Kerinci residents, not only interferes with breathing, but is feared will also have an impact on health.

"So we ask the Pelalawan Regency Government, through the Department of the Environment to pay attention to this. Do not claim to be undisturbed. It's almost every day, until it is smelled 3 times, some claim to be undisturbed," Rudialis said.

He and several young men and the community will come and write to the DLH related to this matter. Rudi also questioned why until now the Air Pollution Standards Index (ISPU) measuring instrument was not owned by the Pelalawan District Government.

"We also ask the Pelalawan DPRD to care. We will also send the letter to the Parliament, and request an open hearing with the company, and the relevant OPD," Rudialis stressed.

 

Rudi also claimed to have received the form of terror, related to his statement that the problem of the stench smell by Pangkalan Kerinci residents was sourced from large companies operating in Pangkalan Kerinci.
