Videos from the scene show the mother and daughter standing on a narrow balcony outside the window of a residential high-rise.

The little girl is seen holding on tightly to her mom, crying, wailing and pleading: "Mama, I don't want to!"

Meanwhile, down on the ground, the woman's husband is seen kneeling down while urging firefighters and police officers to hurry.

According to onlookers, the man was carrying out an affair and his wife had found out. And he also has no job.

A video from the scene shows the woman loudly airing her grievances against her husband and questioning why he was not at home and accusing him of living with his new girlfriend at the expense of his family.

"What do you have that I could want?" she screams.

"You want money, you have no money. You want a car, you have no car. You want a house, you have no house. You can't give me anything. The only thing I wanted from you was to give me a child and a happy family."

A police officer pleads with the woman to give her husband a second chance, saying that he knows he was wrong, noting how he has been continuously kneeling down on the ground for the past three hours in shame.

Eventually, the woman started to listen to reason and became tired. A police officer jumped from another nearby window and was able to push the mother and daughter back inside their apartment with help from other rescuers.
