News24xx.com - PAN Congress in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi is in chaos. The glass door of the first plenum meeting room broke until there were injuries.

The riot occurred after the first plenary meeting was suspended around 02.00 pm West Indonesia Time, Tuesday (11 February 2020). At that time, suddenly a number of people entered the room.

Some of them appear to use congress ID cards and some do not use ID cards to break through the first security door.

"Come in, come in, don't get in the way," shouted one of the men who kept breaking into the meeting room.

Chaos then ensued. Chair throwing occurred again in the arena of congress. Some congress participants rushed out to save themselves.

Not only throwing chairs, but a number of objects also appear to be thrown into the ceiling of the room. Even the glass door in the meeting room was broken. However, it is unknown whether the glass breaker is a PAN cadre. Glass also appears scattered in the room.

Based on information compiled by AFP, a number of victims fell due to the riots. At least 10 people were injured. Some of them also seemed to receive treatment.

The unrest that happened around 15 minutes. The riot subsided after the Brimob entered the room to conduct security. Currently, the suspension is still being done.
