Queue Number Exhausted Before Break Time, Pekanbaru Population and Civil Registry Service Will Apply Online Registration

The administration of population administration at the Department of Population and Civil Registry (Disdukcapil) of Pekanbaru City has been booming since moving to the next door to the Public Service Mall (MPP) on 10 February. This is evidenced by the end of the queue number before entering lunch break.

"Since the service was moved next to the MPP building, at least one day there have been around 600 residents dealing with population administration. This number, according to Irma, is already maximal because the counter is not comparable to the community that must be served," said Pekanbaru City Disdukcapil Head Irma Novrita, on Friday (2/14/2020).

To overcome this problem, her office is preparing an online queue number registration. Because for now, many people run out of queue numbers.

"With online registration later, people can register themselves first and just come to the Pekanbaru Population and Civil Registry Service section," said Irma.

She also admitted that many population administration services must be addressed. This is based on monitoring since it opened on 10 February.
