"We want to question why there are so many honorary staff available. I ask that this be immediately evaluated, who really is used as honorary staff, not because there is a job, not coming to work still getting a salary," upset Askori

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of Bengkalis Regency, Radius Akima when confirmed by reporters said that the number of honorary staff serving in the Secretariat of the House of Representatives (Setwan) indeed currently reaches 219 people.

 

They served not only in the secretariat office, but also in a number of official houses or in part for driver staff from among members of the council.

"The total of 219 honorary workers is still relatively reasonable because it is in accordance with needs. Then, an annual contract extension is evaluated and some have been tasked to reach dozens of years," said Sekwan Radius Akima.

In terms of financial administration, he continued, there were no fictitious honorary staff because they had gone through an inspection by the Riau Representative Finance Audit Board (BPK) in the 2018 fiscal year.

 

"There are indeed 219 honorary staff, spread in several places such as in the official residence of the leadership there are four and according to protocol rules. Such as security, janitors, and others. While the number of civil servants there are 83 people," said Radius again.
