Leading the position handover, Riau Regional Police Chief Inspector General Agung Instructs the Director of Reskrimum to Prioritize Handling These Cases

News24xx.com - Riau Regional Police Chief Inspector General Agung Setya Effendi led the handover procession (Sertijab) of two of his top officials, at the Mako Brimoba Riau Police on Monday 17 February 2020 afternoon.

Officials handed over included the new Director of General Criminal Investigation, Senior Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho. The former Sidoarjo Police Chief was believed to fill this position replacing Senior Commissioner Hadi Purwanto.

Kombes Hadi himself, was subsequently entrusted in his new position as a second level criminal investigator of the Criminal Investigation Police Headquarters.

According to the Riau Police Chief, the Sertijab is a routine thing in the tour of duty for all Riau Police personnel. "We hope that this change of officials can improve the quality of service to the community, especially in the Criminal sector," he said

Inspector General Agung who was interviewed by Riau1.com after Sertijab continued, there were a number of instructions that he directed to Kombes Zain, with his new position as Director of Criminal Investigation in Riau Regional Police.

"My emphasis is on how to protect the protection of women and children. The handling of general crimes, street crime, especially theft is accompanied by violence," he stressed.

 "That will be a priority. We hope with this change there will be new blood, new enthusiasm and concrete results are expected later," said Inspector General.

According to him, the achievements by the Directorate of General Crimes at the time held by Commissioner Hadi, were quite good. "Today's achievements from what we have done are quite good, achievements in many ways, for example the disclosure of illegal taping cases that were completed. Last year there were about 85 cases revealed. That means Crimum shows work performance," he believes.

In addition to the Director of Criminal Investigation, the Riau Regional Police Chief also led the Head of Professional and Paminal Services Division (Head of Propam), from Kombes Agus Sutrisno to Moch Rudi Prasetyo. Agus was subsequently entrusted to be the main lecturer of the National Police Education and Training Center.

"For this (Propam, red), we work professionally to ensure personnel comply with the law, ethics and all the rules that apply to him. What has been achieved at this time is improved, so that all members comply with all the rules of written or unwritten unity," he concluded.
