10 Village PKK Chairmen Inaugurated, This is Rasidah's Message

SIAK- Chairman of the PKK Mobilization Team of Siak Regency Rasidah Alfedri, on Tuesday (2/18/2020), appealed to the PKK of the Village to be the spearhead in running the PKK program. So that the presence of the PKK as Empowering Family Welfare truly gives the benefits for the family.

According to her, it is not difficult in carrying out the PKK program. As long as the person concerned wants to work. Likewise, the preparation of the program should be synchronized with the work program of Village head as the PKK Village Advisor.

"Like it or not, newly-appointed women must be willing and ready to become PKK Chairmen in their respective villages. Because once a husband becomes an automatic headman, women become TP PKK Village heads," explained Rasidah in the hall of Sungai Apit Sub-District Office.

After the inauguration of the Chairman of the PKK Village in the Sungai Apit District, she reminded, that the Village Chair of the PKK can and should not be afraid to run the PKK program by using the Village Fund Allocation Budget.

"We do not need to be afraid as long as their use is in the public interest, then they can be accounted for," she said.

In addition, she said, the PKK Village should not just make programs or just to "pay debts" for routine activities. After this inauguration, PKK Kampung can do data collection, counseling, and help the government handle the problem of stunting.

"When this issue of stunting came to light, and this became homework (homework) for the Siak Regency government which certainly became the PKK homework as well," said the wife of the Siak Regent.

At the end of her remarks Rasidah advised, to keep involving the previous PKK management. At least, she said, 50 percent, so that the programs that had been prepared previously could continue to run and the placement of people in the work group must also be in accordance with their respective expertise.

The Head of PKK in Sungai Apit Sub-District was inaugurated by the Head of TP in PK Ap Sungai Sungai Apit.
