News24xx.com - Tembilahan-The lines of Indragiri Hilir (Inh) Resort Police, Riau, which is led directly by the Police Chief, AKBP Indra Dhuaman planted 2000 mangrove trees, Friday (21 February 2020).

Planting which was centered on Solop Beach, Pulau Cawan Village, Mandah District was also followed by Bhayangkari Inhil.

According to the police chief, the activity was carried out within the framework of the National Police concerned about coastal insulting and strengthening the economy of coastal communities.

"The simultaneous planting of mangrove trees is to support government programs related to planting trees in coastal areas," explained the police chief.

The mangrove tree is said to be the Kapolres is one of the best and safest patterns to resist abrasion, so for that, the police instigate mangrove tree planters simultaneously.

He also appealed to the community and the younger generation that caring for the environment is our shared moral responsibility to address our generation better in the future, he continued
