A total of 65 members of Riau Province council will hold a recess on the 21st to 29th February 2020. Announcement of the Session Period Recess II (January - April) 2020, made in the plenary meeting last Thursday evening.

Riau Council Chair Indra Gunawan Eet said that the recess was part of the Riau Council's task in absorbing the aspirations of the people in the electoral districts. The results of which will be set forth in the form of accountability reports that will be submitted to the leadership of the Council Riau and then reported in a plenary session.

"The results of this recess will also be conveyed to the governor as a reference for future Riau regional development," he said.

In this recess, the Golkar politician hopes that members of the council can convey to the public what programs have been successful, have not been carried out and that have been carried out for eight days.

"And what is the complaint of the people we hope can be accommodated by the Riau province with the Governor," he explained.
