PELALAWAN - At least three villages in Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict Pelalawan Regency were horrendous with Sumatran tiger sightings in the area. As it turned out, the initial sighting of the Sibelang was reported by 2 guards of PT Surya Bratasena heavy equipment.

Pelalawan District Head of Pelalawan Subdistrict Firdaus said, the two heavy equipment guards saw 2 tigers at around 20:15 WIB, on Monday (2/24/2020).

"Precisely in areal Blok T6 Afdeling 3 villages of Sorek Dua and Terantang Manuk Village. First seen by Ibas and Doni. Both are heavy equipment guards," said the Firdaus Sub-district Chief.
 

By both, the apparition was reported to the PT Surya Bratasena KoordPam. The Patrol Team then searched, but no wild animal was found.

"This morning, we have reported it to BKSDA. The tiger trail was also found by residents," concluded the head of subdistrict, Firdaus. (R24 / Ardi)
