Following China, Today Corona Case in South Korea Reaches 1,146, 11 People Have Died

From the latest data on gisanddata, the countries most widely reported cases of the spread of the coronavirus are China (77,663 cases) and South Korea (1,146 cases).

Launching from the Korea Herald, today, Wednesday (26 February 2020) South Korea reported 169 new cases of coronavirus.

So far, there are 11 South Koreans who have reportedly died from the virus that attacks this respiratory tract.

Of these thousands of cases, around 80 percent of the confirmed cases came from the infection group in the Daegu area, South Korea.

Meanwhile, of the 169 new cases, there were 153 cases in Daegu, an area 300 km southeast of Seoul.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) revealed that almost all provinces and cities have also reported several cases of infection, with the city of Seoul reporting four cases.

Not only that, South Korea's second-largest city, Busan, reported eight new cases and one new coronavirus case in Gyeonggi Province.

Since increasing the virus warning level to "Red Alert", or the highest level, South Korean health authorities have focused on stopping the spread of the virus in Daegu.

The city of Daegu is suspected to be the center of the spread of the coronavirus in South Korea.
