PT Tunggal Perkasa Donates Blood to PMI Pekanbaru

News24xx.com - PT Tunggal Perkasa Plantation (TPP) together with UTD PMI Pekanbaru held a blood drive. Blood donor activity was carried out at PT TPP's soccer field, Saturday 29 February 2020.

Public Relations of PT TPP Hadi Sukoco explained that blood donors and health checks, such as blood pressure checks, sugar and cholesterol levels, were carried out by medical personnel from Eka Hospital Pekanbaru Hospital.

"This activity is carried out once a year. From the results of the donors collected 100 blood bags and will be donated to PMI Pekanbaru City. Donor participants come from PT TPP employees and the surrounding community," said Hadi Sukoco.

Meanwhile, one of the medical staff at Eka Hospital Hospital, Dr. Ade Ferdian added, blood donation is an attempt by someone to give a certain amount of blood, which is transfused to someone else.

"But unfortunately, there are still many people who are afraid to donate blood, with a variety of reasons submitted. Starting to fear syringes until there is a fear of blood running out," he said, smiling broadly.
