Getting More Pathetic! Taking the Dead Body of Coronavirus Victims, the Italian Government Sent Down Dozens of Army Trucks

That was because the mortuary room was too full to accommodate the victim's body. The coffin had filled up the mortuaries in two hospitals and also the public funeral parlor.

In the photo, the trucks are moving through the city of Bergamo in the Lombardy region, one of the areas hardest hit by the COVID-19 virus. The city has recorded at least 93 people died due to the Coronavirus.

Foreign media reported that around 70 coffins were placed in 30 trucks and would be transported to crematoria in a number of locations in Italy. After the body is cremated, the ashes will be brought back to Bergamo.

"We prepared psychologically by looking at Chinese images, but it was unthinkable to imagine such devastation," said the Medical Director of Chiari hospitals in Brescia and Lombardy, Jean Pierre Ramponi.
