News24xx.com - Indonesian Honda cars will stop production for 14 days, starting April 13 next. This is because market demand is declining amid the pandemic corona COVID-19.

"Yes (temporarily closing the factory-Ed). We have adjusted our production levels to market demand," said Business Innovation and Marketing and Sales Director of Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) Company Yusak Billy when contacted by AFP on Wednesday (1 April 2020).

Billy added that the automotive industry in the early months of 2020 experienced a decline as well as the economic situation.

Noted, there are several models produced by HPM, such as Honda Mobilio, BR-V, HR-V, Jazz, Brio Satya, Brio RS and CR-V.

"Due to the rapidly changing market situation, we continue to adjust our strategy to meet customer demand while maintaining healthy stock level conditions," he explained.
