Pekanbaru Health Office Use All Rapid Test Equipment, 350 Corona ODP is Negative

News24xx.com - Pekanbaru City Health Office (Dinkes) has used a rapid test tool (the results of rapid tests detecting antibodies) today. The result, as many as 350 People in Monitoring (ODP) were declared corona negative.

Implementing Task (Acting) Head of the Pekanbaru Health Office Muhammad Amin, Thursday (2/4/2020), said the 350 ODP blood sampling process had been carried out in 21 puskesmas. The results of the blood sample were tested with a rapid test. The result, all declared negative.

"This rapid test is still ongoing. We have to sort out the number of ODPs that have not yet been examined by a rapid test," he said.

Earlier, the medical staff who carried out a rapid test of 350 ODP were still wearing simple personal protective equipment (PPE). The medical officers wear plastic raincoats.

Amin revealed, his party had budgeted the purchase of PPE for medical personnel. PPE to be purchased as many as 10 thousand for medical workers at the health center and Regional Hospital (RSD) Madani.
