Budi Edy Purnomo (41), a resident of North Kupang Hamlet, Putat Jaya Sub-District, Sawahan District, died allegedly in a mob group on Thursday (2 April 2020) yesterday. Budi was killed after being caught stealing at the home of Rini Windayati (35), a resident of Pertapan Maduretno Village, Taman District.

Based on information compiled by beritajatim.com, Budi initially snuck into Rini's house (victim and witness) after going out to buy cooking needs.

Coming home from the shop behind the house, Rini was shocked to see the back door of the house open and there was a Honda Vario type motorcycle parked in front of her house.

Rini thought the motorbike parked in front of her house was the motorbike of her son's friend, and he was not suspicious. Rini then entered the house through the back door and headed to the kitchen to cook.

When going to cook, Rini saw someone coming out of her house. However, the person is not her child's friend.

Rini then asked "mas sampean sopo" (who are you?), and then answered by Budi "I was just with your husband".

Then, Rini saw Budi carrying her bag. Rinipun followed Budi's steps while asking. However, Budi still stepped and started his motorcycle.

Rini then shouted and invite the residents. Residents then came to catch the perpetrator and success caught the perpetrator.

"Budi is suspected of being mobbed by a mob who captured and eventually died around the crime scene," he said.

At the scene of the crime, Budi's body, wearing a bluish jacket and wearing a levis, looks on his stomach in a water channel whose condition is no longer breathing.

While Kasat Reskrim Sidoarjo Police AKP Ambuka Yudha Hardi Putra admitted if this case was still being investigated.
