News24xx.com -  Indonesia U-16 national team striker Amanar Abdillah is reluctant to complacency after deciding a 1-0 win over Thailand in the 2018 Asian Cup Group G qualifying match at Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.

Amanar is one of the new players after the participation of Garuda Asia in AFF U-15 2017.

In the first three games of U-16 Asia Cup qualifier 2017, Amanar has scored two goals for Indonesia U-16 national team when facing Northern Mariana Islands and Thailand.

In the game counter of Thailand, the player that has the number 7, scored the only goal. Amanar also asserted himself always remember the words of the coach not to be complacent with what he has achieved.

" I'm happy to win against Thailand, which I aim for the supporters especially who have come directly to the stadium but we are always reminded by the coach not to get complacent, it's only qualifying, our trip is still long," Amanar said.

In Thailand counter match, Amanar can not play the full game because of the eye pain. However, now the player claims that his condition is getting better and ready to face Laos in the last fight.

" I've improved, but to play or not when facing Laos, I leave it to the doctors and coaches but one thing is for sure, we are all in this team and I want to win the game against Laos," he said.

Currently U-16 national team is not certain to qualify for the 2018 U-16 Asian Cup final. However, with the acquisition of the perfect nine points from the three matches that have been played, Garuda Asia became the team most likely to qualify from Group G.
