National Logistical Supply Organization (Bulog) Ensures Availability of Rice in Inhil Enough for Up to 3 Months

Inhil-COVID-19 Inhil Task Force Team conducted a review of rice stocks at Tembogahan Bulog to determine readiness ahead of the fasting month of 2020 in the atmosphere of the Corona Virus pandemic (COVID-19), Saturday (04/04/2020).

Monitoring of the Bulog Tembilahan warehouse stock by Inhil Regent, HM Wardan with the Chairman of the Regional House of Representatives, Ferryandi, Dandim 0314 Lieutenant Colonel (Lieutenant Colonel) Inf Imir Faishal, Chief of Police AKBP Indra Duaman, Chairperson of PKK TP, Zulaikhah, Kasat Reskrim, AKP Indra Lamhot Sihombing, Head of Trade Division Disdagtrin, Arispudin, Setda Inhil's Head of the Economy and SDA Division, Wanhar who was welcomed directly by the Head of Tembilahan Branch Bulog, M Fakri Firdaus.

This monitoring is an effort of the task force in handling co-19 prevention, regarding the availability of staples for the community before the month of Ramdhan.

Fikri Firdaus as the head of Bulog in Indragiri Hilir regency mentioned that the availability of rice in Bulog was sufficient for the next 3 months.

"The availability of our stock is sufficient for the next three months and Bulog is ready to make maximum efforts according to the Regent's instructions and expectations," he said.

With this monitoring, the National Logistics Agency can provide an overview of the condition of rice stocks so that all parties do not feel worried about the availability ahead of Ramadan.

"At present we have 450 tons of rice stock and in a few days before Ramadan an additional 300 tons will be added," explained Fikri.

Gudang Bulog Warehouse will continue to try to increase the stock to a maximum of 1000 (one thousand) tons.

"For the storage capacity of Rice in the Bulog Warehouse the limit reaches 1000 tons to be able to meet the needs for 3 months, so the existing stock of 450 tons is enough or even more if only for the availability during the month of Ramadan," he said.

And the National Logistics Agency has also prepared 100 tons of aid for the district.

"For the help of the province we have prepared, there are 100 Tons and if it is needed then we will use the existing stock here," lid Fikri.
