Why did it happen?

This is because their genes are almost same, so they are not complementary. If there are genes that contain of congenital diseases, then automatically the child will bear the disease.

Other effects of inbreeding are increased risk of infertility, birth defects such as cleft lip, unsymmetrical face shape, low birth weight, and death.

This is evident to Tripti, a Bangladeshi woman who married when she was 13 years old with her cousin, Hossain.
After three years of their marriage, they are have a baby boy. However, the baby was born with a strange condition.

Everyone was shocked and frightened to see the face of their baby boy named Bayyezid.

Bayyezid was born with a poor condition. His appearance looks like an 80 year old man. Bayyezid has a rare disease that causes his age to look older. His skin was slack, his teeth were porous and his joints were weak.

Tripti, Bayyezid's mother could not believe that she gave birth to this child. After the DNA test done, then she accepted the reality if Bayyezid is her son. Doctor said if Bayyezid have Progeria disease. In this case, the maximum age that can be lived only up to 13 years.
