Why the month that you were born can determine how successful of you

News24xx.com -  According to a recent paper published by the National Bureau of Economic Research, September is not the just the month that have cooler weather. September also indicates the ideal month to have a baby; especially in countries like the U.S.

Researchers from the University of Toronto, the University of Florida, and Northwestern University claim that September-born babies are often more successful than their peers!

A large study conducted by the researchers on a million students over the course six years found babies born in the month of September are the oldest in their class.

That’s because the cut-off date to join kindergarten classrooms was September 1st.

The extra months that September-born babies benefit from help them adjust to school faster, revealing an obvious advantage of cognitive development.

Additionally, children born in August tend to struggle more since they are the youngest in the class, are cognitively weaker and less mature.

The research also states that September-born babies are 2 percent more likely to attend college, 3 percent more likely to graduate from college and 7 percent more likely to graduate than people born in August.

It's something to consider since the benefits of being born in a particular month lasted way more than kindergarten as well!
