News24xx.com -  The United States Department of Commerce has published a list of 37 major business that deals to be signed between the US and Chinese companies during President Donald Trump's state visit to Asia. The value of signed transactions reached more than USD 250 billion.


Catepillar, Boeing and Goldman Sachs are some of the names of the US giant companies that have made business deals with China.


The US Trade Secretary, Wilbur Ross said the agreed deals were a good example that Trump helped to build bilateral trade relations between the two countries.


"American business is the most innovative in the world and when they given us an access, it can compete with anyone. I believe this agreement can provide a solid foundation to further strengthen the more free, just and respectful relationship between the US and China," Ross said as quoted by CNBC.


Goldman Sachs CEO, Lloyd Blankfein, Qualcomm CEO Steve Mollenkopf, Cheniere Energy CEO Jack Fusco, Air Products CEO Seifollah Ghasemi, and a number of division chiefs from Boeing and General Electric are some of the nearly 30 business leaders who accompany Trump.


"It is an honor that (this agreement) is witnessed by President Trump and President Xi (Jinping), thanks to the CEO delegation for their hard work in supporting this historic event," Ross said.


As we known, the trade sector has become one of the priorities of the Trump government. That businessman talk about China's growing trade deficit with the US when met with China President, Xi Jinping during his visit.


According to Chinese customs data, China-US trade surplus reached 12.2% in October 2017 while in the previous year reached USD 26.6 billion on an annual basis (yoy).

During the period from January to October 2017, the total surplus reached USD 222 billion.

China is the third largest export market for the US, after Canada and Mexico.
