Toyota and Suzuki began to introduce their electric cars in India

News24xx.com -  Some countries have begun to develop electric cars. One of them is India who have a mission to replace all cars circulating in India to be an electric car.

And two Japanese car manufacturers, Toyota and Suzuki began to introducing their electric cars in India.

Reported by Drivespark, on Monday November 20 2017, Toyota and Suzuki signed a MoU to launch electric cars in India in 2020. The signing of this cooperation is a new thing after previously there was a cooperation agreement in February.

In the agreement reads Suzuki will produce electric cars while Toyota will support from a technical point of view.

Toyota and Suzuki will further study the acceptance and use of electric cars in India. In the study also explored the matter of arranging the place of charging and after-sales service of electric cars.

Suzuki has also announced it will manufacture lithium ion batteries at India's Gujarat plant. All components will be locally produced from batteries, electric motors, and other essential components.

Price is also one of the considerations of Suzuki then it chooses to produce it locally.
