Pixar release Coco with themed VR land of the dead

News24xx.com -  New Pixar animated film Coco, does deliver amazing visuals. Especially when Miguel first set foot to Land of the Dead.

Pixar himself revealed it took hundreds of people to create a visual where there are lighted houses that are lined up to towering sky and cable cars that fill the city.

Coco VR itself is the first vitual reality experience released by Pixar. Virtual reality is already familiar in the world of cinema. It is often used as a media campaign, where the audience can really enter and feel the sensation of being a character in the film.

Lionsgate once made the VR experience for the movie Power Rangers and Disney, Pixar's head company has brought the audience into the virtual reality Moana and Beauty and the Beast.

However, Coco VR is social and interactive compared to other virtual reality. In addition to visiting the Land of the Dead, Coco VR also turns the audience into a skull shape and can take pictures at the photo booth in the VR.

"This is a great experience for us, bringing people into a co-operative digital world.This is the first," says Colum Slevin.
