News24xx.com -  City Government (Pemko) of  Pekanbaru, Riau Province held a raids of Electronic Identity Card (e-ID) on Monday, November 20, 2017. The result from the raids is dozens of people found not have e-ID card and immediately fined IDR 50 thousand.

It conveyed by the Head of Civil service police Unit (Satpol PP) Pekanbaru, Zulfahmi Adrian.

"There are 58 people who were caught in the raids of ID card today," he said.

The raids took place at Samratulangi Street, Sago Sub-district, Senapelan Sub-district, Pekanbaru.

In that raids, people with ID card from Siak amount to about 20 people, ID cards from outside of Riau province amount to about six people, and people who not carry their ID cards amount to about 32 people.

The people who are caught at that raids are subject to fine sanction of IDR 50 thousand, in accordance with Regional Regulation of Pekanbaru City No. 7. The fines that earned from the raids will be put into the local treasury of Pekanbaru.


The raids was conducted on the initiative of the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) Pekanbaru in cooperation with Civil service police Unit of Pekanbaru. The raids were conducted in addition to warnings to take care of their e-ID cards and as well as to record the population.

Zulfahmi Adrian requested that the residents to always carry their e-ID card.

"If you do not have e-ID card, you must be immediately manage to Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) Pekanbaru", he said.
