Agung Mount has erupts, the residents in Bali asked to be vigilant

News24xx.com - A surprising news cames from Bali. Agung Mount that located in Karangasem regency, Bali province erupted on Tuesday, 21 November 2017 at 17:05 pm, local time. In fact, the eruption of the mountain is still ongoing until now.


Based on data that compiled by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the volcanic ash is seen with a maximum height of 700 meters above the peak.


According to the Head of Data Center for Information and Public Relations BNPB, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said the volcanic ash blowing toward the East to Southeast. The Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) is still analyzing about the volcanic activity. And now, the level for Agung Mount is standby status or in level 3.


"The people around Agung mount and the climbers, visitors, tourists must avoid and not do any activity in the danger zone, radius of 6 km from the summit crater of Agung Mount ," Sutopo said.
