McDonald's apologizes for their security guard who has forcibly dislodging the veil of consumer

News24xx.com -  A terrible incident occurred again at McDonald's fast food restaurant in North London.

A veiled woman who was ordering food and then got threatened to open her veil or leave the restaurant by the restaurant security guard.

Video footage that circulating in cyberspace shows the customers (women who used veil) protests against the security guard after he repeatedly her told to open her veil.

"It's just a matter to open her veil," said a McDonal's security guard, as quoted by Russia Today, Saturday 2 December 2017.

  
"I have lived in England for 19 years, this is the first time I have faced such discrimination and this surprised me, I was really surprised," she continued.

According to the Guardian's information, the woman was told that her veil is a security threat. The woman was reportedly going to report the incident to the relevant authorities.

In response to the video, McDonald's issued an apology. The company says it does not have a policy that prohibits customers from wearing religious clothing.

The spokesperson of McDonald said in a statement, "McDonald's has no policy limiting or preventing anyone wearing headscarves, or other religious attire, to entering our restaurant. We welcome to all customers from all religions and we very apologize for the situation."

Furthermore, on McDonald's statement, "We take this matter very seriously and handle the situation with the individuals involved, the security officers, from third party companies, have been suspended."
