The flight from London to Jakarta was canceled because the problem of air conditioner

News24xx.com -  Garuda Indonesia GA87 aircraft that departed from London to Jakarta canceled its flight. There are technical constraints relating to air conditioner. Originally the plane will departed at 21:55 pm London time, Wednesday, December 5 2017 night.

When passengers check in, there is a notice that the flight delay is one hour.

Just around 22:20 pm, passengers are told to go to gate 42. The boarding process initially took place normally. There was no activity that showed signs of departure will cancel after all the passengers had entered inside.

Later the copilot informed to the passengers that there was a technical problem that made the plane not yet able to take off.

"We apologize for the inconvenience, and the technical repair of the air conditioner takes more or less 30 minutes to come," said co-pilot.

Then, 30 minutes later there is a notice again that the repair will take 15 minutes longer. But 15 minutes afterwards precisely at 00.50 on Thursday, December 15 2017 London time, there is an announcement about the certainty of the cancellation of the flight.

"We apologize and regret to inform you that the night flight was canceled because the repairs have not been completed yet," said the groundhandling of Garuda officer delivering the announcement via loudspeakers on the plane.

The officer said the passengers will be stayed at the hotel. However, luggage that goes into the trunk, cannot be taken out again.

The passengers included some of the Indonesian delegates at the 30th International Maritime Organization (IMO) exit the plane and headed for the bus that will take them to the hotel.

This incident is already known by the management of Garuda in Jakarta. They have not make a statement related to this incident because it is still coordinating with officials in London.
