Nissan will prepare a new LMPV with using the Xpander platform

News24xx.com -  The latest news emerged from PT Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) which is preparing a new model of LMPV that using platform Mitsubishi Xpander. Their plan, this model will be launched in next year.

Vice President Director of Marketing and Sales of PT NMI, Davy J Tuilan explained at this time his party still continue to study related the LMPV car. In fact, for the name is also still not determined by the Japanese manufacturer.

"The name of LMPV that we have not decided yet we are still learning, but we will still carry the segment LMPV," explained Davy on the sidelines of the test of Nissan Note e-Power in ICE, BSD, South Tangerang recently.

Furthermore, Davy explained that they party has not been able to provide about detailed information, whether this new model to replace the Nissan Grand Livina or as a new model. Because, this model is indeed a chance to open a new segment in the market LMPV.

"Actually there is a slight change, could also be applying two segments.Positioning a product is very important, do not be wrong because it will have a major impact," he said.

Earlier, President Director of PT NMI, Eiichi Koito, also provide a signal in next year if they party will present a new model.

"I can not say about the model, and when the new model will comes in. But I can say, maybe in next year we will very busy," Koito explained.
