Government of Indonesia will increase the allocation fund for each village in 2019

Boediarso Teguh Widodo explained that the allocation is higher than the current one with an average of IDR 800 million per village.

"In 2019, Insyaallah we will keep the budget fixed in the village of IDR 1.4 billion," said Boediarso at Jeep Station Indonesia, Bogor on Tuesday December 12 2017.

The increase of village budget allocation in the political year has also become a promise of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in his campaign. Meanwhile, the distribution will also be done to about 75,000 villages.

"Why in 2019 and why must IDR 1.4 billion? Because it is what the president promised during his campaign, " he added.

According to him, the budget increase for this village should be done in 2018 but based on the results of its evaluation can only be done in 2019.

From the evaluation result, the budget allocation of village funds is effective to alleviating poverty, absorbing labor, warning people income and purchasing power, village.

"It turns out that the implementation of village funds has succeeded in reducing the number of poor, rural ratio, but the increase is not massive, not too massive, meaning the multiplier effect is still not optimal," he said.

With the lack of optimum utilization of village funds, the government in 2018 will improve the quality of Human Resources (SDM), ranging from the ability of village officials in managing so that no one is abused.

"So while evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of village funds, as well as we prepare the capacity building in village finance managers, the government is determined not to increase the village funds first," he said.
