"The results of these studies says that men have a weaker immune response from women, in relation to a respiratory flu virus infection such as the flu," said dr. Kyle.

"This is can be seen from the fact that men have more severe flu symptoms, longer, more likely to be hospitalized, and die of it," continued Dr. Kyle.

It's acknowledged by doctor Kyle. One thing that is not taken into account is lifestyle factors such as smoking habits or visits to the doctor.

Men may be more vulnerable because they have lifestyle is worse than women.
