Monika Rudijono, will officially work as President of Uber Indonesia from January 2018.

"With two decades of experience to building brands and leading companies in Indonesia, we are delighted if Monika joined as an important figure to lead a new round of Uber travel," Uber said in its website on Wednesday December 13 2017.

Responding to her appointment as the new President of Uber Indonesia, Monika expressed her opinion on ridesharing services.

According to her, ridesharing has changed how Indonesia moves and presents many economic opportunities for millions of people.

"I am very happy to be a part of this change, and to lead a new transformative for Uber travel in this country made me so proud," she said.

Before joining with Uber, Monika was President Director at Gray, one of the world's leading advertising and marketing companies.

The woman that born in Jakarta started her career at MACS 909 and FCB, then joined with Leo Burnett.

Here, she is entrusted with business acquisitions and has been instrumental in making Leo Burnett the most rapidly growing agency in 2009 - 2010.

Monika then pioneered the presence of ISOBAR Indonesia in 2011 and in 2 years.

The agency was grew into a leading agency that handles many clients such as from the Telecommunications industry and FMCG.
