The recall must do by Volkswagen because they have some constraints on the relay cable on the starter system and makes the car difficult to turn on, especially for VW Polo in Russia.

VW Polo which has been circulating in Russia from 2015-2017 will be withdrawal and repair after got a report from the Russian technical supervision starndar body., Rosstandart. The number of cars that will be withdrawn more than 30 thousand units of VW Polo.

 

According to Reuters, the company will check all cars on the recall list and then fix the problem for free.

The recall announcement came about a week after VW held talks with Russian light commercial vehicle maker, GAZ (Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod) to buy their shares.

GAZ is part of the Basic Element group whose they assets are owned by Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska, and they have already established a partnership with Volkswagen.

If the deal continues, it shows that big companies from Western countries will invest in Russia, despite the political tensions between the two countries.
