Manchester United have opened talks with Bordeaux about Malcolm

News24xx.com -  Manchester United have opened talks with Bordeaux on Brazil forward, Malcolm.

After having scored until 18 goals in 76 games, Malcolm has been a key player for Ligue 1 Bordeaux since 2016.

The 20-year-old, who plays for Brazil's youth team, has attracted the attention of a number of European clubs and Arsenal.

But Manchester United have proposed Malcolm and is making a deal to bring it to Old Trafford, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

It is claimed Jose Mourinho, who wants to strengthen his squad, and view Malcom as one of the best young prospects in Europe.

United hope to get a contract with him and allow him to continue his career with on loan.

The French club gave their stars a price above £ 50 million pounds but United believes the £ 33 million fee is worth.

Mourinho, who led United to the EFL Cup and Europa League title in last season, believes Malcol could be a Premier League star.

Manchester United, currently second in Man City while Burnley dropped to seventh after losing from Tottenham at the weekend.
