A daughter stole money of her mother to give many gift for a man that she met through live streaming

News24xx.com -  A mother in China became a 'victim' of theft by her own daughter. Xiao Ya, a Chinese teenager, has spent USD 100 thousand or less than IDR 1.3 billion without the knowledge of his parents.

The money that she get was used to buy a gift for a man who also a user of live streaming applications that she knows through live streaming app, Inke.

Xiao Ya earned that money from her school savings as well as her mother's bank account.

Xiao Ya who is studying in Canada spend the money by buying digital gifts in the application such as flowers or islands that range in price from USD 0.02 or about Rp 267 to USD 510 or Rp 6.8 million.

Xiao Ya acknowledged, all the presents she bought to show her feelings to one of the users who always live streaming applications every day.

She uses her mother's ID number and bank account to pay for gifts without anyone's knowledge.

The mother has filed a lawsuit for all the money her daughter spent in September 2017. Unfortunately, her lawsuit was not approved and now Xiao Ya's mother appealed.

Ms. Xiao Ya admitted to being shocked that her money had run out for unimportant things. But the child's reaction was unexpected. "My daughter does not feel guilty instead she turns to say: 'So why? Everybody does it, even the fathers of my classmates love it'," said Xiao Ya's mother, Liu, as quoted from Koreaboo.

Parties from Inke's application said it would create a new system to monitor and protect underage users. However, in Xiao Ya's case, Inke can not verify whether Xiao Ya is indeed doing all the purchases.

This is because all purchases are registered in the name of his mother. Inke also cannot trace the proof of purchase because the payment is done overseas.
