As experienced by Girish Sharma. Despite only having one leg, Girish get ranked second in singles and doubles number for badminton players.


The man from India was only 2 years when he lost one leg in a train accident. But he is not discouraged. At the age of 16, he routinely practiced of badminton and his talent soon flourished.


In the national championship, he was physically challenged and Girish managed to win 2 gold medals.

Later he represents India in Israel and Thailand. He won two silver medals in Israel, in singles and doubles number.


Not only that, Girish also won gold medal in Paralympics Asia Cup for Disabled.


Despite faces of the financial difficulties and losses, Girish is still strong.


Now, his age is almost in mid 30s now, but the man shows no signs that he should stop from badminton.


But sadly, even though he has brought the Indian name to the international scene, Girish is still ignored by sports authorities in India.
